blueaigaion Insurance Solutions SA is a family business that prides itself on being one of the leading independent marine insurance brokers in Greece. With a combined experience of over 100 years in the industry, we can offer competitive premiums and comprehensive coverage, tailored toward the specific needs of our clients in the marine Industry. Our operations are underlined by service, integrity, and professionalism.

The lineage of our involvement in marine insurance dates back to our founder, Mr. Nick Velliades, who established Velos Insurance Services Limited in the UK in 1975. He then went on to set up Aigaion Insurance Co SA, which was established as the only Marine Insurance Company in Greece. Aigaion swiftly emerged as a significant player in the local insurance market.

In 2015, after Aigaion was wound down following the financial crisis in Greece, blueaigaion was established to continue providing our clients with the first-class service they had grown accustomed to. After Brexit, we restructured our operations, with Velos serving non-EU businesses and blueaigaion focusing on EU clients. Currently, the operations of both businesses are overseen by the next generation of the Velliades family, Stephan and Dominique Velliades.
